Positive Images of Aging
Purpose
The Positive Images of Aging Award was established by the Southeastern Association of Area Agencies on Aging to recognize individuals, groups, agencies, or businesses in the private and/or public sector who have presented a positive image of older individuals through their efforts in advertising, hiring practices, etc. This is a non-competitive award, which may be presented to any number of nominees, as approved by the Board.
Selection of Recipients
- Nominations may be submitted at any time during the year and will be reviewed by the SE4A Awards Committee during the next regularly scheduled Board meeting following receipt of the nomination.
- Recommendations will be brought before the full Board for approval.
- Upon approval, the SE4A 1st Vice President will send a letter of notification to the nominating AAA. The nominating AAA is to notify the award recipient.
